The Iceland Challenge for PTSD

The Iceland Challenge consists of two marathon style treks in two days with wilderness camping. Participants must train for months in order to develop the stamina and adaptability necessary to complete the trek.

True to Veritech's strong sense of social responsibility, Paul, Veritech’s managing director, his wife, Jo, Veritech’s credit controller, and their team, Solemates, have volunteered to take this incredible challenge in order to raise money for PTSD awareness and treatment.  Paul and Jo will be trekking along the famous and breathtaking Laugavegurinn Trail and will encounter hot springs, glaciers, mountains and river crossings, all of which will require a lot of stamina and put their training to the test.

Donations for Iceland Challenge

Paul and Jo have set up a donations page, to allow people to give money towards this very worthwhile cause. PTSD is a debilitating mental illness and is particularly common amongst those who have fought for their country. All proceeds raised will go to PTSD Resolution. PTSD Revolution provides free support and counselling to UK Forces’ Veterans and boasts a near 80% success rate. We hope that the money raised can go towards rebuilding the lives of those traumatised in battle.
